We called the front desk and were told that the hotel was “oversold” because of the baseball tournament. Somewhere between Birmingham and Montgomery our reservation and key mysteriously disappeared. Our flight was delayed so we were arriving an hour or so past midnight from Birmingham. We checked in and received our digital key via the Hilton Honors app. This was by far the worse experience I’ve ever had with a hotel.
